We respect Casamigos. They are a massive brand, they made tequila mainstream, and they turned “Blanco on the rocks” into a personality trait.

But we are not Casamigos — and we’re not pretending to be.

Here’s why:

1. They’re Built by Celebrities. We’re Built by Work.

Casamigos has George Clooney. We have… traffic on Route 27 and sand in our shoes.

They launched with fame.
We launched with hustle.

Different game. Different beginning. Same category. It’s fine.

2. They Market Luxury. We Live Culture.

They lean glam, billboards, and bottle service.
We lean Montauk lifestyle — surf, salt, sand, house parties, and “one more round.”

We don’t sell exclusivity.
We sell belonging.

3. They Built Their Brand in LA. We Built Ours in Montauk.

Casamigos has Hollywood.
We have Ditch Plains, The Point, paddle-outs, bonfires, and late nights that turn into early mornings.

We’re not here to be the Hamptons’ knockoff Clooney tequila.
We’re here to be the Montauk tequila.

4. They Focus on Mass Appeal. We Focus on Real Tequila.

Casamigos is designed to win over the “I don’t usually like tequila” crowd.

We’re designed to win over:

• Bartenders
• Agave lovers
• People who actually taste tequila

Different priorities. Both valid. We just picked ours.

5. They Started With Millions. We Started With Guts.

Casamigos came out of the gate with serious capital and distribution muscle.

Our strength is word-of-mouth, culture, and showing up in person — events, tastings, Mobile Cantina hits, surf towns, neighborhood bars.

We aren’t trying to mimic their launch.
We’re writing our own story.

The Real Truth

Casamigos is a phenomenon.
Montaukila is a movement.

They’re a household name.
We’re the tequila you tell your friends about because it actually tastes like tequila.

One day we’ll be everywhere too — but not because we bought awareness.
Because we earned it.
